柬埔寨内政部近日成功捣毁一个跨国电信诈骗集团，24名嫌疑人已于10月3日被移送金边初级法院。该团伙涉嫌利用加密货币进行洗钱活动，涉案金额高达1000万USDT。

据调查，该团伙头目为中国台湾籍嫌疑人WANG SHENG YU，其在柬埔寨设立3处诈骗窝点，专门针对美国等地受害者实施电信诈骗。该团伙通过澳大利亚BITPIE公司的数字金融系统转移诈骗所得，柬埔寨警方已成功冻结52363USDT。

柬埔寨警方表示，此案涉及跨国洗钱活动，将与相关国家开展国际合作，共同打击电信网络犯罪。这是柬埔寨近期破获的又一起重大跨国电信诈骗案件。
